Blue Bottle and Tartine Bakery may have ixnayed their merger, but Blue Bottle knows the best way to get back at an ex is by living its best life. Which is exactly what the coffee brand is doing: Starting Wednesday, February 10, Blue Bottle is introducing an expanded food program to its cafes from culinary director Hedy Macferran with both sweet and savory dishes. On the debut menu are dishes like roasted pumpkin soup with pepita labneh ($7), bacon and thyme scones ($3.50), overnight oats ($6) and chia pudding ($7).

The menus will debut at the W.C. Morse, Mint Plaza and Palo Alto locations, chosen for their popularity and size, and roll out in the Bay Area incrementally through spring. Through the new menu — which will change seasonally and get an ingredient reboot in April — Blue Bottle hopes to encourage guests to stay longer. Check out the debut menu for Mint Plaza below.
