The Name Game

Daniel Patterson's casual project at 10th and Market now has a name: it'll be called Alta CA, which is a double reference to the 19th-century Mexican name for Northern California, and the SF newspaper of the same era that once employed Mark Twain. The plan is still to serve relaxed food and cocktails, and Scott Kester is handling the design on the 65-seat space. They're targeting a fall opening. [Inside Scoop]
