Tina Tamale to Open La Snackeria in Oakland

Tina Tamale (nee Ramos), the third-generation scion of the family behind Oakland's 70-year-old La Borinqueña, is looking to branch out. She's crowdfunding a new restaurant called La Snackeria, which would take the space of a former sandwich shop in Old Oakland, right down the street from the mothership.
