Olé

A new Spanish restaurant is heading to Oakland, courtesy of Eduardo Balaguer, whose catering company Venga Paella has outgrown the farmers' market circuit and is ready for a brick and mortar space to call its own. The restaurant will attempt to replicate a traditional Spanish taverna feel with a 49-seat space on Brush Street, where they'll focus on tapas and three kinds of paella, along with Spanish wine and beer. (Here's the working menu.) Venga Paella is hoping to open by mid-September. [Inside Scoop]
