Caffeine Nation

Lots of people love their morning cup of Blue Bottle, but few take it to the extent that barista Daniel Lee did: he spent over 100 hours building a near-perfect replica of the roaster's Mint Plaza cafe, entirely out of Legos. From the La Marzocco espresso machine to the siphon bar to the pastry case, it's a mini tribute to the space, including a coat rack with a hat worn by a regular. (Perhaps Zaarly should add a camera monitoring the mini-fig line.) Why did he do it? "If I get into something, I really get into it," Lee says, adding he may model BB's Oakland roastery next.
