Michael O'Brien is on a roll: after netting lots of praise and 2.5 stars from Bauer for his work at Mikkeller Bar, he's been given the chef gig at sister spot The Trappist as well, where he'll be introducing new dishes like a crab timbale and beer-poached bratwurst with curried potatoes. Meanwhile, Mikkeller Bar is now offering a rotating daily special at the bar, including a $14 burger on Mondays, a $3 Taco Tuesday, wings on Wednesdays, and pulled pork on Thursdays. [EaterWire]
