As of tomorrow, Berkeley will be the home of the third location of SliderBar, the Palo Alto-based burger chain started by Ashwani Dhawan. (The other location is in the Castro.) This new edition will seat 45, and looks much like the other two locations, with dark wood and TVs mounted above the bar. There are a few new additions to the slider lineup, though: the Red & Gold (corned beef with "gold sauce" and sauerkraut), which is a tribute to the 49ers, and meatball and short-rib versions. Milkshakes, wings, and Belgian-style fries round out the menu.

On the drinks side, SliderBar has 15 drafts of beer and wine, with options from 21st Amendment, Stone, Ninkasi, New Belgium, and Lagunitas. There are five wines available: two reds, two whites, and a prosecco. The location also offers brunch sliders (a new introduction at the other two spots) and a happy hour with $4 beers. Here's the happy hour menu. Hours are Monday-Saturday, 11 am-10 pm, and Sunday, 11 am-9 pm; definitely consider stopping by tomorrow if you live in the area, as they'll be giving away 1,000 sliders to celebrate their opening. It's not the last you'll see of them anytime soon, as Dhawan hopes to open three more SliderBars by the end of 2014.
