Now that the faux-cronut floodgates have opened, they may never close. The latest player on the cronut scene is Stag's Lunchette in Oakland, where Alexeis Filipello plans to offer "croughnuts" on Sunday, September 8th at 9 am sharp. The East Bay has yet to play in the cronut stakes, and she wanted to fill the hole (er, so to speak) with three flavor combos: vanilla bean, clementine-vanilla "creamsicle," and bourbon-smoked chili.
