Vegans have one less place to dine in Oakland, as Olde Depot Public House, the vegan restaurant spinoff of popular beer bar Beer Revolution, has closed after less than a year in business. Despite adding meat options last year to diversify their customer base, the business wasn't able to make it. A later comment said that Fiveten Burger would be taking over Olde Depot's spot, but owner Roland Robles was mum on the subject when the EBX inquired—though he's said in the past that he's interested in an Oakland brick-and-mortar.
