SANTA ROSA — 2 Tread Brewing Company has announced plans to open in downtown Santa Rosa, and join the likes of craft beer royalty, Russian River Brewing Co. BERKELEY — A Taco Bell with booze is a college student's dream, and it's about to come true. Taco Bell Cantina, which will be located at 2528B Durant Ave., is geared toward millennials, with items like chicken fingers and chili cheese nachos, a sassier interior and alcoholic drinks. [EaterWire]

COW HOLLOW — The Mina Test Kitchen has unveiled its newest concept: an international barbecue collaboration between Ayesha Curry (yes, that Curry) and Mina himself, called International Smoke. NORTH BEACH —  The Speakeasy, Boxcar Theatre's immersive theatrical experience, will return this August with a brand new full-time, 9,050-square-foot space on the edge of Chinatown and North Beach (exact address to be determined). MID-MARKET — The owner of Mateo’s Taqueria is opening a restaurant in the Uber building at 1455 Market St. The full concept is still to be determined, but it will be a counter service spot with tacos, burritos and other Mexican fare. It’s expected to open mid-summer. [Hoodline]
