From homemade mulled wine and hot chocolate to stocking-stuffable sweets and food trucks, here's your guide to the best holiday eats.

San Francisco

Noe Valley Holiday Wine Walk

Noe Valley Holiday Wine Walk Oenophiles, rejoice. At the Noe Valley Holiday Wine Walk, you'll get a taste of wine country in your very own backyard. All along 24th street, restaurants and merchants invite guests in for wine tastings and snacks. Pick up a bottle from local wineries like Rosa d'Oro, Deux Punx, Dashe Cellars, Treasure Island's Winemaker Studios, and more.

Holiday Market

Critically acclaimed dim sum-style fine dining establishment, State Bird Provisions, and sister restaurant, The Progress, are opening their workshop for a one-of-a-kind holiday market. While shopping for fabric goods, floral arrangements, ceramics, and custom designs, snack on sweet canelé, a small French pastry with a soft custard center and caramelized crust, from co-pastry chef, Mikiko Yu. After 5 p.m., head downstairs to The Progress for a drink.

Nightlife at the California Academy of Science is a weekly, no-kids-allowed event where visitors can explore the museum after dark with cocktails and treats. December 10th invites SF Bazaar to host a holiday-themed evening with DJ Hard French. Get wintery with churned-to-order frozen treats from Smitten Ice Cream and their signature BrrrTM machine, plus a cozy selection of winter beers.

This holiday market features a special summery treat to warm you up in the foggy Inner Sunset. Enjoy succulent BBQ from the Bay Area's best backyard barbecue truck, The Boneyard. Celebrate the season with sliders, beef brisket nachos, smoked pulled pork, or fall-off-the-bone ribs. Those looking for fusion can nosh on plates, sandwiches, and snacks from Adam's Grub Truck, a blend of traditional Asian flavors with a contemporary twist of American comfort food. Sam's Chowder Mobile will also be here, serving up warm chowder and succulent lobster rolls.

SFMade Holiday Gift Fair

If the holidays make you think of sweet treats and mulled wine, then this is the market for you. Carl Sutton will be on site pouring his famous hot mulled wine, perfect for warming up in the colder months. You can also purchase wines to pair with all those holiday feasts from Sutton Cellars, Cellars 33, and Bluxome Street Winery. Nibble on sweet treats from Kara's Cupcakes, Charles Chocolates, and Socola Confections, plus baked goods from Noe Valley Bakery, Nana Joes Granola, and Kika's Treats. Drool-worthy and meat-happy local food truck Bacon Bacon makes this a not-to-be-missed market. Those wanting something fresher can indulge in Phat Thai's som tum salad or tom kha gai (creamy coconut) soup. While you're shopping, get in the holiday spirit with a hot cocoa from Drip! Mobile Cafe.

Christmas Village at The Yard

This pop-up shipping container village is home to a festive Christmas tree lot through the month of December. Grab a hot coffee at Peet's Coffee or huddle up in the Beer Garden where you can enjoy BBQ and Anchor brews, plus a rotating food truck during lunch hours.

Winter Walk SF

All month long, Union Square transforms into a holiday pop-up plaza with carolers and musicians, holiday shopping surprises, light shows, and, most importantly, food trucks. Off the Grid offers the city's best food trucks every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday in December from 11am-2pm and 5pm-9pm. The lineup changes daily, with live music to accompany your noshes every Wednesday night. The Philz Coffee Truck will be parked every day with coffee, tea, and hot cocoa.

Great Dickens Christmas Fair & Victorian Holiday Party

Step back in time to Victorian London, where you can feast like the dickens with delicious foods from the British empire.
