Noble Sandwich Co. to Open at Oasis Texas Brewing

Noble Sandwich Co. serves some of Austin's best sandwiches in their Northwest and Burnet Road locations. Now, a mysterious Craigslist ad has appeared hiring for a "new restaurant" in West Austin from the group. Even more intriguingly, the ad calls for exclusively "p.m. shifts," whereas both Noble Sandwich restaurants are open for breakfast and lunch only. Here's the ad:

Noble Sandwich Co. is hiring for a new restaurant. All employees must have good transportation to get to and from work. These positions are for P.M. shifts. All employees get paid hourly and are tipped. Set days off and paid vacation after 1 year. Full time and part time. Start ASAP. Location is in West Austin.

It's possible they're hiring for dinner service at an existing location, a move the restaurant is weighing. It would be odd to describe either location as "West Austin," but after focusing so exclusively on sandwiches, a dinner menu would certainly feel shiny and new. Watch this space for updates.

Update! Noble Sandwich Co. will open a small outlet at Oasis Texas Brewing Company, according to a press release. The sandwich innovators will serve a limited menu during taproom hours, starting Labor Day weekend. A rep for the restaurant confirms the Craigslist ad is hiring for this project.
