Black Label BBQ Lands in Barrel Proof For Game Days

Just in time for football season, Barrel Proof has added Black Label BBQ to their shot-and-a-beer arsenal of game day enjoyment. Former Marine/Texan/pitmaster Damian Brugger will bring his Texas style brisket, ribs, smoked chicken wings, sandwiches, sides and more to Barrel Proof during all major football games--NFL, college, pro and monday night football. Brugger has previously popped up at Ms. Mae's and participated in Hogs.

Owner Sean McCusker tells Eater that Brugger's barbecue is "real Texas style. Real different than what else is out there." And really good at that (check the pit porn). Also pretty awesome: Barrel Proof has four televisions for watching the games, 100+ whiskeys, and Schlitz on tap.

The first pop up will likely be September 4 (the first NFL game of the year between Seattle and Green Bay), but do check Black Label's Twitter and Facebook feeds for official updates.
