Tiffany Jewelry Comes 'Out of Retirement' at Dover Street Market

For the first time ever, Tiffany & Co. is reintroducing some of its best jewelry styles that are no longer in production as part of a capsule collaboration. Partnering with Dover Street Market, it's appropriately named "Out of Retirement" and contains 17 limited-edition pieces that are based on the jeweler's archived designs.

"The essence of Tiffany has always been about modernity and beautiful material," design director Francesca Amfitheatrof explained in a statement. "These pieces feel just as contemporary today as they were when they were first made. They are rich with the charm and wit that are an intrinsic part of the company."

Dover Street Market echoed Amfitheatrof's sentiments, hinting that this might be just the beginning for the two brands. "We are humbled and honored to provide the spaces in all our Dover Street Markets for what we hope will be the beginning of a longstanding relationship" CEO Adrian Joffe added (that's another feather in their high-end cap — the department store regularly partners with brands like Prada for collabs and exclusives).

The collection is inspired by the jeweler's early 1970s gold statement pieces, including rings, bracelets, and earrings. The collaboration is available now through January 2016 at the Lexington Avenue store (they just installed awesome window displays here), as well as the Ginza and London markets.
