The Gifting-Worthy Designers You'll Find at Seaport Studios Starting Today

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The South Street Seaport is seriously having a banner week when it comes to fashion. In addition to the Brother Vellies and William Okpo sample sales taking place next to each other right now, designer incubator Seaport Studios is debuting its newest set of brands at 19 Fulton Street this morning. And for those who want to discover new favorites while getting some holiday shopping done, this is the place to be.

Highlights include Haerfest, known for its utility driven leather backpacks and bags; socks by Jimmy Lion; women's apparel from Whit and Theory of Gaia; and picks from the online magazine Bulletin. There's a healthy dose of NYC locals in here too, like natural beauty products from Red Flower, jewelry from the Brooklyn-based Hannah Guerin, and arrangements from the notorious Flower Girl.

All this and more — like a reading lounge courtesy of HarperCollins and coffee beverages from Casa Caffeina — is available to check out now. And luckily, this is sticking around longer than most holiday markets will.
