OMG: A Super Cheap Korean Beauty Sample Sale Is Coming to NYC (More Updates)

Driely S.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Update: Since this was initially reported, Peach and Lily has created a Facebook event page with updated sale hours—2pm 12pm to 9pm on Wednesday and Thursday (Update to the update: They've reverted to the original hours! Two more hours to shop on Wednesday!)—and increased the discount on skincare products to up to 90% off retail prices. RSVPing to this sale at hello@peachandlily.com is recommended, but not required. Thanks to the tipster who pointed this out!

Who would've thought your summer skin savior would arrive in the form of New York City's first-ever Korean Beauty sample sale? We just got word that Peach and Lily founder Alicia Yoon is more or less dumping out her suitcase full of K-beauty goodies from a trip to Seoul—filled with popular brands like Mizon, Clio, and Peripera alongside cult niche labels you've never heard of but should—at legitimately insane prices.

While skincare will be up to 80% 90% off retail prices, makeup pricing is super simple: Every item is just $5, or $20 when you buy five items. Don't understand the whole K-beauty craze just yet? Let Charlotte Cho of Soko Glam tell you about it—or take the New York City tour of her favorite spots for yourself—before the sale kicks off on Wednesday, August 5th on the 17th floor of 265 West 37th Street.
