You would be forgiven for assuming that Williamsburg had already been blessed with a Trader Joe's, considering the fact that it now has a Starbucks, a Dunkin' Donuts, and a J. Crew, soon to be joined by a Whole Foods and an Apple Store. But that would be false, as news broke today that the neighborhood will be getting a Trader Joe's of its very own.

The 18,000-square-foot store, the chain's second in Brooklyn, will be located at 206 Kent Avenue between North 3rd and Metropolitan. Like all other NYC Trader Joe's, we're sure it will be a veritable hellscape in the days before a storm hits, but one thing we don't know yet is: Will there be a wine shop attached, a la the Union Square location? Answers (and, hopefully, $2 cab sauv), to come.
