MANHATTAN—This week, Madewell will be popping up all over the city for its denim recycling drive in partnership with Blue Jeans Go Green. Return any pair of old jeans to a mobile pop-up or retail location and receive $20 off your next Madewell pair, as well as a free tote. On Thursday, October 8th, find the truck at Rockefeller Center (22 W 48th St) from 7am to 10am, Battery Park (215 Murray St) from 12pm to 2pm, and the Meatpacking District (848 Washington St) from 4pm to 6pm. It'll be outside the Flatiron store (115 Fifth Ave) on Friday, and all stores will be accepting donations over the weekend. Your old denim will be turned into housing insulation for Habitat for Humanity.
MEATPACKING—Tomorrow, join Girls costume designer Jenn Rogien at Sorel (345 W 14th St) as she launches the outdoor brand's fall collection. Stop by between 7pm to 9pm to pick out you signature fall look.
NOLITA—Paperless Post is making the unprecedented move of teaming up with Rifle Paper Co. to present Bloom Room, a floral-themed pop-up shop that debuts the brands' collaboration on both online and IRL invitations, birth announcements, holiday cards, and more. Check it out at 171 Elizabeth Street; it opens tomorrow evening with a meet-and-greet with Anna Bond of Rifle and James Hirschfeld of Paperless between 6pm and 8pm, and is open Friday through Sunday from noon to 6pm daily.
