Misha Nonoo's Mom Is Helming Her Sample Sale Once Again

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Misha Nonoo's Garment District sample sale could not have come at a better time. Fully stocked with summer skirts and dresses for Fourth of July weekend, it's staffed by the designer's mom (who was also on-hand to help shoppers last season), as well as her puppy, Thatcher.

There are five racks of clothes on the sales floor, so let's go through them all.

Rack One: Dresses ($90 to $100) in a variety of metallic colors and prints. The "Lila" metallic shift dress was popular among shoppers, as were the flamingo-print options.

Rack Two: Mini and midi skirts in silk and organza fabrics ($70-$80). Printed belts can also be found on one hanger.

Rack Three: Outwear including jackets ($200 without fur, $275 with fur) and sweaters ($60-70).

Rack Four: Silk and cotton tops ($50-$60) like this "Dorothy" cotton-poplin tank.

Rack Five: A mix of shirts and skirts similar to the Misha Nonoo X Dustin Yellin Tee and some pants ($80).

Samples run between sizes 0 and 4 while production items run through size 10.

As for shoes, several pairs of printed Manolo Blahniks are selling for $80. Sizes range between size 37 and size 42 with several half sizes hiding in the lot. And if they're not gone already, a pair of size 40 Adidas Orions ($80) can also be found here.

Head over sooner rather than later to take full advantage of the CFDA designer's summer sale and to have the opportunity to meet Nonoo's mom and (adorable!) pup. Check out the complete details below.
