Upper East Side Man Sues Apple to Keep Its Store Out of His Neighborhood

That Upper East Side Apple store is set to open in a mere week, but not if this guy has any say in it: Herbert Feinberg, an 88-year-old UES resident, is suing the largest company on earth, a company that has more money than Walmart, Facebook, and JPMorgan Chase combined, on the grounds that an Apple store would be "incompatible" with the neighborhood (which Curbed NY notes happens to be the city's wealthiest).

Although Feinberg claims to have a petition boasting 400 signatures, we're guessing the fact that Apple already installed a photo exhibition—rather ironically titled "Portraits of the Upper East Side"—is a sure sign that they're not going anywhere.
