Shoe lovers, rejoice! Italian brand Aquazzura will open its first standalone store in the United States at 935 Madison Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets, the Commercial Observer is reporting. Slated for a February 2016 debut — the same as its new neighbor, Moynat — the space is currently undergoing extensive renovations. But once the doors open, the shoe label will have more than 2,000 square feet of the ground floor and basement in the former Whitney Townhouse that's next door to the future Met Breuer, which plans to debut the following month.

Along with Moynat, Aquazzura will have pretty the requisite fancy neighbors that you'd expect with an address like this, joining the likes of the revamped Christian Louboutin boutique, the new Apple store, Gianvito Rossi, Tomas Maier and Carolina Herrera. It also won't be far from the future home of The Row, which is hopefully opening right around the same time.
