Manolo Blahnik to Up July Discounts, Sell $250 Shoes Soon

One of New York City's best boutique sales is finally upon us: Manolo Blahnik. Madison Avenue Spy reports that discounts at the flagship store on West 54th Street are about to be bumped up from 30% off to 50% off retail prices. While shopping in the calm of the store (and not the often-scary sample sale) has its perks, the shopping blog notes that you might be better off elsewhere. End-of-season sales are still going strong at Bergdorf's and Saks, and you're likely able to grab BBs for less here.

That doesn't mean the boutique is totally worthless, though. If you're dead-set on finally owning the label (or just adding another pair to your collection), wait until the final round of markdowns hit toward the end of the month—at their last end-of-season sale back in February, plenty of pairs were marked down to $250, with a select few even going for $195.
