Jacadi Is Bringing Fancy French Kid's Clothing to Brooklyn

Pardon Me for Asking

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Jacadi sees you, cool Brooklyn moms, and they know you don't want to trek to the upper reaches of Manhattan for your baby's ruffled gingham rompers. That must be why it's setting up its first outer borough outpost on Cobble Hill's Court Street, as the neighborhood blog Pardon Me for Asking pointed out.

It looks like the 39-year-old brand is making a bit of a push in this area, as a Tribeca store debuted earlier this month. There's no word on an opening date just yet for Court Street, which is replacing a nail salon (and neither this location nor Tribeca is listed on their website), so Brooklynites will have head across the East River for the meantime to get their dose of French.
