Reminder: The Beyoncé-Blessed Frida Kahlo Exhibit Closes This Week

All the other plant life in New York City is pretty much already dead (though beautifully so!), and as of Sunday, the living subjects of New York Botanical Garden's Frida Kahlo: Art, Garden, Life will be, too. Just kidding, we're sure they'll all be safely preserved somewhere warm — you just won't be able to see them after this weekend.

The exhibit, which you may recall from its stylish opening day or when Beyoncé herself blessed it with five whole Instagram posts, centers around the Mexican painter's interest in horticulture, both in her painted works and in her personal garden in Casa Azul.  If you haven't already, however, good news: This weekend, the exhibit will be home to a Dia De Los Muertos celebration, where visitors can watch a procession of huge skeletons and butterflies and create their own Day of the Dead masks before it closes for good.
