Rituals Cosmetics is spreading its reach in New York City. The Amsterdam-based brand that carries some of the best beauty products in the city opens the doors to its first Brooklyn shop today in Cobble Hill, following last year's Columbus Avenue opening (they previously had a shop in Soho, too).

Technically, it's not their first appearance in the borough—the never-tests-on-animals beauty label has a shop-in-shop in all three of the city's Barneys stores, including the outpost on Atlantic Avenue. But the department store doesn't have the Court Street shop's opening deals: The first 100 customers today can snag a beach bag with any purchase, and once those are all gone, bags (and towels!) can be had with a purchase of $50 or more. You can also pick up their popular shower foam for $8 instead of the regular $15 over the next few weeks.
