We dropped by Paul Andrew's sample sale on its second and final day to take a look at what's left. The room is very calm and quiet, and shoe prices range from $50 to $225. Below is the breakdown in pricing; check out the gallery above for available styles.
Shoes are marked with color-coded stickers denoting prices: green is $225, orange is $150, pink is $80 and black is $50. A lot of what's left is in the "green" category, but $225 is still a steal for shoes that often start at over $1,000, like the Shirin animal print calf hair sandal (were $1,095). The black samples have varying degrees of wear and tear on the bottoms, but you can grab a pair of black leather Corinth pumps for $50 (were $725) and simply get the soles repaired.
Almost all of the shoes in the room on the left are size 37, and the room on the right has a few (very few) size 39's and a good section of size 40's. So if you happen to wear a size 6 or 7 shoe, you're set. Some favorites flats: a light blue patent leather style ($80), and a pair in a kaleidoscope print (also $80).
Onto the main event—heels. We saw plenty of Kimura pumps for $80 (were $675), a pair of check pumps for $80, sequin and satin pumps for $150 and metallic rose gold and black heels for $225. We also saw a pair of patent neon flame sandals for $80. Boots were common as well; a pair of black stiletto boots are $225, suede and elastic poppy red boots are $50, and a pair of flower print boots are $225.
Overall it's worth checking out this afternoon or after work, as there is minimal damage to most of the shoes and a majority of the styles are great for summer.
