Moms that prefer to dress their kids like the children of celebrities are going to love Livly, the Swedish apparel brand that opened earlier this week in Tribeca — the label is favored by famous moms like Miranda Kerr and Sarah Jessica Parker. The new shop is a great spot not only because of all of the adorable pima cotton coveralls and cute party dresses, but also because the space is seriously kid friendly, which makes shopping for little ones a whole lot easier.

Situated on Reade Street right next door to Jacadi and down the block from Gymboree, the store's location couldn't be better. "Tribeca is so family-friendly, and when we found this particular location we were so excited because it really feels like the place to go for kids," Brittany Peltz Buerstedde, Livly's co-creative director, explained to Racked at the store's opening party. But unlike Jacadi, the clothing you'll find at Livly is a bit more affordable. Prices range from $3 for a bow to about $160 for a very fancy dress, with tons of pima cotton pajamas and tee-shirts in between.

But the best part is that you don't have to worry about children throwing tantrums at Livly — this place is fully set up to avoid such catastrophes (or at least curtail them as much as possible). There's an incredible dollhouse, a set of tiny table and chairs, and lots of adorable stuffed animals all over the store. And when moms get tired (shopping with kids is hard!), they can have a seat on the lovely sofa or one of the two Versailles chairs that flank the fireplace.

"When we opened this store, we created something that we would want as modern moms — somewhere beautiful where you could bring your child and feel comfortable and have a place for older kids to play and for moms to sit, and still know that you're getting the best quality for your child at an affordable price point," Peltz Buerstedde added.

Livly's only other two stores are in Sweden, so Tribeca is its stateside debut. When asked about plans for expansion, founder and designer Lisa Carrol was eager to tell us that they'll be opening up in Florida, and even more Livly stores will be popping up all over the country in the coming months and years.
