Paul Smith, Rituals, Larsson and Jennings: Bleecker Street's Newest Additions

Shoutout to the tipster who took a stroll down through the West Village yesterday and shared this news: Paul Smith signage is up at 357 Bleecker Street, while Rituals Cosmetics will take up residency down the block at 333 Bleecker, almost next to the new Larsson and Jennings at 337 Bleecker. Too much info at once? Let's break it down:

Paul Smith is taking over Sucre, the jewelry store that exited this address earlier this year with a combined moving/sample sale. They didn't go too far, though — the new store is now open at 9 Christopher Street, next to perfume shop Aedes de Venustas. Meanwhile, Paul Smith added a new Manhattan store earlier this year at Brookfield Place, adding to a roster that currently includes Greene Street in Soho, Fifth Avenue in Flatiron, and Grand Street in Williamsburg. We don't know an opening date yet, and this location isn't included on its website. [Update: On January 8th, the brand stipulated that Bleecker Street will be a temporary home while they look for a new permanent space.]

Rituals Cosmetics is moving into a space that was long ago home to the boutique Blush and joining a beauty-leaning stretch of Bleecker Street — like-minded neighbors include Sisley Paris and The Organic Pharmacy. The Dutch beauty brand has had a focus on New York in recent years, with the Upper West Side's Columbus Avenue in 2014 and Cobble Hill's Court Street over the summer joining the shop on Lafayette Street. An opening date for this one isn't known, either.

And finally, watch purveyors Larsson and Jennings will be sharing an address with the Goorin Bros. hat shop at 337 Bleecker Street. Funny, because Goorin is also the brand's neighbor at its just-opened Prince Street shop over in Nolita. Again, we don't know when it's arriving.
