Bottega Veneta's Summer Sample Sale Is Back This Week

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Before Tory Burch hits Metropolitan Pavilion next week, Bottega Veneta makes its annual appearance with a two-day sample sale that starts on Thursday, July 23rd. The brand is mum on what we'll find this week, but past experience tells us that even when a bag is marked down to 90% off retail price here, it can still be well over $3,000—because it's made of crocodile skin, after all.

And even if you can afford prices like these—the majority of styles will likely range from $500 to $1,500—you'll likely be limited to purchasing just a single bag, since they tend to run out before the sale's end anyway. In the realm of affordability, last year we found dresses for $300 (excluding runway replicas of a piece worn by Emma Watson), blazers for $250, and a pretty big selection of footwear (in terms of range of style, but not depth of sizes) for $100 to $250.

Check out the sale hours and address in the Dealfeed below.
