The Helmut Lang Sample Sale Is Back This Week

Once you make it through Rebecca Minkoff on Monday and Alexander McQueen on Tuesday, then you've made it to opening day of the Helmut Lang sample sale on Wednesday, November 11th. The brand's structured blazers and silky tops are making their way back to Chelsea Market for a five-day event, with prices going up to 60% off retail on men's and women's collections.

Let's hope that the merchandise on offer this time around will be similar to what we saw back in June, where everything on the racks practically screamed "autumn" — think leather combo jackets, leather pants, fur vests, dresses, and jumpsuits. But let's also hope that we won't be seeing those same prices, where 100% leather were $529 and shoes were $199. Its saving grace were boxes full of samples of basic bras, tanks, and crop tops going for $29, and samples of knit vests for $49.
