Theory's Midtown Sample Sale Still Has Plenty to Offer in Its Final Days

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Update: On Saturday morning, the sale host announced that this sale has been extended through Sunday afternoon, and everything is an additional 20% off. Original sale prices are reflected below and in the gallery above.

After finding such good things at the Theory sample sale filled with mostly women's merchandise on the first day, we checked back in last night to see how things were going. Even though dresses looked to be going fast among the plethora of offerings that morning, there's still tons of everything left. The venue appears to be restocking like crazy, and when we took a second look, it could have easily still been the first day of the sale.

While that's good for those still hoping to get their hands on muted basics, it's not so great for those who wanted to scoop up some last-minute bargains. There aren't any markdowns (at least not yet), but there's still today and tomorrow left in the sale, in case prices decide to take a nosedive at the very end.

But for now, the sale is well-stocked. You'll still find a ton of dresses and leather jackets, as well as the same black blazer over and over again. Pants still outnumber the skirts, and if anything, skirts are the one item that you probably shouldn't come looking for.

Size large definitely has the least amount of options, with size small taking up almost half of the space. In the gallery above are items that were, for the most part, available in a variety of sizes. It'll probably look familiar, because much of what's here is what you saw on the first day.

There's no need to run to the sale in fear that what you had your eyes on is going to get snapped up, but if word of markdowns comes to us in the next few days? Well, that's a different story. Check out the Dealfeed below for more details.
