See Stunning Moulin Rouge Costumes Hit the Runway in Times Square

Paris Fashion Week will look nothing like this. New York City celebrated the Best of France — an event showcasing the country's top food, wine, attractions, fashions, and more — in Times Square this past weekend, but nothing was quite as eye-catching as the grandiose costumes from the legendary Moulin Rouge that performers sashayed down the runway.

The show marked the costumes' return to Times Square after 126 years, and we sent photographer Jane Kratochvil to capture it all — see her best shots of the bold sparkly headdresses and feathered skirts (which total more than $350,000 in value!) in the gallery above.
