Look Inside Kith's First Women's Store, Now Open on Bleecker Street

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Alert the crew: Kith just dropped its first-ever women's collection in its very own store today. At 64 Bleecker Street, it's conveniently located right across from the recently expanded men's store, which isn't any coincidence: "I was waiting for this space to become available and when it did I snatched it," owner Ronnie Fieg told Racked style editor Nicola Fumo.

Kith women's collection sits alongside a glorious collection of sneakers, plus extras like Miansai jewelry, RGB nail polish, and Illesteva sunglasses (sorry, no cereal right now). "It's like dressed-up athleisure, which I don't think really has a category right now," Fieg said of his line. "I think we're filling a void that doesn't really exist at the moment."

As for the store itself, "the space is small compared to my other stores, so first it was about brightening up the space and making it look larger. But I think the space is really the perfect size." Take a peek at it in the gallery above, or head over to Bleecker Street and judge for yourself.
