Don't let the construction going on outside 72 Greene Street fool you: The new Patagonia store is most definitely open. The outdoorsy brand moved around the block from Wooster Street recently to this airy, three-floor space on the same block as Saint Laurent and Kiki de Montparnasse. It's full of wooden beams and table made from the Domino Sugar Factory's reclaimed wood, plus plenty of warm-weather gear—with puffer jackets aplenty on the ground level, where you'll find men's merchandise, the brand is ready to go for fall.

Head past the marble cash wrap—cultivated from the MoMA's Sculpture Garden and lit by a bevy of camping lanterns strung above—to the lower level to find women's and kid's apparel, or upstairs to the Community Workspace. That's where you'll find yoga classes on Sunday mornings, a cute bookshelf set-up, large tables for meetings, and the Worn Wear repair station, where you can get any of your Patagonia gear stitched up for free. In short, it's pretty much a one-stop shop for any and all hiking day trips.
