Brooklyn Fox Closes Bedford Avenue Store in Preparation for 'Something New'

It's been a tough summer for Williamsburg indie retailers' brick-and-mortar locations, with favorites like Jumelle and Joinery closing up shop for good in favor of e-commerce. But that's not quite the case with the Brooklyn Fox boutique at 200 Bedford Avenue, the neighborhood's latest closure that was pointed out to us by a tipster late yesterday.

"It's been an honor and a pleasure serving the beautiful foxes of Williamsburg. Thank you for your patronage," the sign posted over the brown-papered glass and under the shuttered security gates reads in part (Lexi Isadora first opened this location in spring 2012). "Please stay tuned as we prepare this location for something new, and don't forget to visit us at Brooklyn Fox Lingerie."
