Wedding gowns? Interchangeable! The venue? Who cares?! If you want your wedding to be talked about for decades to come, there's only one thing you need: A really, really superb dessert table.

We asked NYC bakeries, including Ladurée and Georgetown Cupcakes, to send over their favorite wedding-themed treats, and what we got was everything from fancy rice krispie treats and a cake decadent enough for Marie Antoinette, to a giant tower of rose-scented macarons (topped with an edible bow!).

Here's how to recreate the scene yourself: For the extras, we used cake stands from that new uber-cheap Danish home goods store, Flying Tiger, and metallic streamers and garlands from Williamsburg-based design duo, Confetti System.
