Small Business Saturday and Santa Selfies Are Coming Up This Weekend

ASTORIA—Eleven stores in the Astoria area have come together for the Small Business Saturday Retail Crawl on Saturday, November 28th. Participating shoppers will receive punch cards, and those who make a purchase at six stores or more will be entered in a drawing to win a grand price from all participating stores and wine from Crescent Wine & Spirits. BROOKLYN HEIGHTS—This Saturday, Montague Street will play host a variety of discounts (up to 50% off at certain stores) and promotions (complimentary food and gifts) at local restaurants and shops for Small Business Saturday. The event will feature a strolling Santa taking selfies, caroling, and free balloons. There will also be designated Drop boxes for shoppers to donate items that will be given to local families in need. Check out more information here.

COBBLE HILL & BOERUM HILL—The "mom & pop" shops along Atlantic Avenue between Brooklyn Bridge Park and Barclay's Center are embracing "Small Business Saturday." These local stores (300, to be exact) are offering gifts for kids and adults, ranging from home goods to sweet treats to clothing and skincare. Check out more information here.
