Saks Fifth Avenue's Consolidation Sale Is Back from the Dead

Brian Harkin

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Remember that dark time that Saks told us that they wouldn't be doing their consolidation sale anymore (or did you black out that memory, too)? Turns out it was a hoax: Madison Avenue Spy says that it's back in action—so thanks for tugging on our heartstrings, Saks. Their website's landing page specifies that discounts are up to 70% off, and anything that's marked down more than 60% off retail price can't be returned.

Browse online for an idea of what you'll find in person at the Fifth Avenue flagship, like Manolo Blahnik BB heels for $278, an Elizabeth and James dress for just over $100, and an Alexander Wang sneaker clutch for $518. And if you're near a Saks Off Fifth outlet, check in to see if any of the good stuff has ended up there for even less.
