The year-long saga of NYC's first boozy Starbucks, which opened this month in Williamsburg, could be repeated not once, but twice-over: The coffee chain just applied for liquor licenses at two Financial District cafés.

DNAinfo reports that the Starbucks outposts at 1 Battery Park and 55 Broad Street could soon be serving beer and wine as well, depending on the outcome of a Community Board 1 meeting on Wednesday. Should the committee approve, it'll be up to the State Liquor License for the final call. Hopefully this time around, the process won't involve sneaky ploys to hide its name from the application.
