Gilt Is Launching Personal Shopping at Its Midtown Headquarters

If you regularly find yourself slacking off at work every day at noon when Gilt unleashes a new sale, there's about to be a way more fun way to shop (and one that doesn't involve mega procrastination). Starting next month, if you're a New York-based female member of the site—yep, it's only for women—you'll be able to schedule an appointment to shop the brand's headquarters IRL.

Gilt by Appointment rolls out on September 8th, and allows you one hour of shopping—either by yourself, with a plus-one, as a friend group, or in a shared appointment—while a personal stylist pulls pieces for you to try on (plus champagne!). That could mean anything from vintage Chanel to Jimmy Choo pumps to Derek Lam apparel, all at up to 70% off.

When you book your appointment for a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (the hub goes live September 1st), you'll also be able to specify whether you're shopping for a particular event and tell them your budget—because as we've learned, personal shopping isn't just for rich people.
