Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Update your wardrobe for 2016 with better-than-basic basics from labels Equipment, Joie, and Current/Elliott when the trio of brands return to 260 Fifth Avenue for a four-day sample sale starting next Tuesday, December 15th. While you should be prepared to wait if you're heading in for opening hours — the line wrapped around the block at previous sales, if that's any indication of what's to come — it'll likely be worth it.

Last year, discounts on women's clothing and accessories meant that shoppers were able to score serious savings on those coveted Equipment silk tops ($20—$45) and dresses ($60), Joie's seasonally-appropriate wool ponchos and sweaters ($50—$60), and Current/Elliott skinny jeans ($41—$50, normally from $150 and up). Unless it's outerwear, don't expect to see triple digit price tags on any particular item.

If you want to try your luck shopping the sale later in the week, there' a good chance you'll be doing it with extra markdowns. Check out the Dealfeed below for more information.
