Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Longtime luxury bargain hunters will know that, for the most part, Alexander McQueen sample sales are few and far between. In fact, before last year's sale, it had been five years since the luxury designer first offered New Yorkers the insane discounts we've come to expect (like up to 90% off retail prices men's and women's apparel, plus $200 boots). Luckily, the brand will make an appearance at the Metropolitan Pavilion during this sale season for what we can only hope is a repeat of last year's crazy-low prices.

Starting Tuesday, November 10th and running through Thursday, the sale will have ready-to-wear for both men and women, as well as accessories. At last year's sale, women's tees were $50, tops and blouses and corsets were $150, dresses were $350, blazers and light jackets were $450, and heavy coats were $500 — all quite a steal for a brand whose items normally retail in the thousands. Let's hope this sale is more of the same, minus the long check-out line and limited stock.

Some things to note: This sale will only accept credit cards, and children under the age of 12 won't be permitted inside. Just like last time, all coats, bags, and even cell phones will have to be checked at the front. Full details are in the Dealfeed below.
