Paragon Sports' Final Sale Day Has Amazing Deals, If You're Willing to Look

If you like the chase, then you'll like the last day of the Paragon Sports warehouse sale, which finishes its extended run tonight. That's not to say that there isn't a lot of stuff (there's tons of it) or that there isn't anything good (there's still a few pretty pairs of Nike sneakers) — it's just that it won't be waiting for you wrapped up nicely in a bow. If there is a pair of sneakers or a bikini top in the size you need and color you want, you're going to have to really dig for it. And if you do stumble upon this gold, you're going to get an awesome deal.

Since the sale opened on September 9th, the savings have just been getting better. Today's your last chance to snap up an additional 20% of rollerblades (youth and adult), STM bags, men's polo shirts and bottoms, ski and snowboard boots, ski bindings, Eagle Creek wheeled luggage, and designer skis and apparel. There's also 50% off all cycle gear — that's jerseys, helmets, shorts, and shoes. In general, all apparel is "buy two, get the third free," and all shoes are "buy three, get the fourth free."

So let's talk about the shoes, which are probably the main draw for those headed in today. While the store is fully stocked in sizes (6 1/2 to 10 1/2 for women and 6 1/2 to 15 for men), the whole selection is a bit like a lost and found: some gems, but mostly stuff people didn't think it was important enough to come back for. There's still an abundance of brands like Seavees and Asics, and a few great Nikes, Adidas, Vans and Chacos for up to 50% off, and a pair or two of Ugg boots (but not the style you're thinking of).

It's still definitely worth a visit, if not for awesome finds like a striped muscle tee that went from $55 to $9.96 or a pair of men's Vans in an Alice in Wonderland print going for $29.95, then for the rollerblades you never knew you needed. The crowd has died down, so you won't have to fight your way to the All-Star Converse that are buried beneath the platform flip-flops and Toms wedges.
