Once in a blue moon, Ohne Titel holds a sample sale, and that blue moon happens to be right now. The best part about this sale? Most clothing, though largely made up of overstock from recent seasons and still in original packaging, is more than 80% off retail prices. We got a look at the merchandise just after the doors opened this morning and included some of our favorite pieces in the gallery above.
There are four racks to browse in the showroom: two with separates (all $65), one with mostly dresses ($90), and a fourth with leather and shearling apparel ($100—$300). The sale wasn't all too busy at opening this morning—the shoppers that were there were rather pleasant (and not pushy, hopefully a new trend)—and there's a de facto changing area behind these racks, complete with a mirror.
On the $65 separates rack, we gravitated towards an abstract striped top in crème/oxblood and black (was $355) and its matching skirt (was $379), a contrast panel skirt (was $499), and tufted knit sweaters in oxblood, black, or white. Sizes for tops and skirts ranged from XS to L in most styles, and with more stock in the back, it's worth asking staff to double-check if you can't find your size right away.
In the dresses section, we noted a similar array of sizes from 2 to 8. We liked a black foiled pleated cutout dress for $90 (was $550), a buff vertical stripe dress (was $465) and a leopard-print reversible knit dress, available in a few different colors (was $565).
Four stock boxes by the checkout table are full of skirts, sweaters, and tops. Some are represented on the racks, but others are new gems, so it's worth taking a good look through. We saw plenty of the leather-paneled quilted jersey sweatshirt for $65 (was $510), the coated ribbed cotton mini skirt in metallic gold (was $425) and the black and white chevron-pattern knit crop top (was $320).
The more expensive items here include a shearling coat with leather sleeves for $300 (was $2,040), a knit vest with a shearling collar for $200 (was $1,095), gray leather tapered track pants for $200 (were $995), and mesh black leather vests for $100. There were also a few pairs of quilted high boots (sizes 38 and 39) for just $59.
