We stopped by J. Crew's women's sample sale earlier today to see what's been picked over from opening day, and luckily the sale is still in full swing—a new shipment of shoes even arrived this morning. There is still a huge variety of cheap tops (yesterday's most popular item) and jewelry, while Collection items look largely untouched. The Crewcuts section was also seemed especially popular today—plenty of moms with kids in toe were shopping the section at the back of the store today.
Though there was no line outside when we stopped by, there were lots of people crammed inside, sifting through the seemingly endless racks. A few sales associates said that while the variety of styles and sizes left is pretty vast at the moment, they're expecting what's left to go fast (they remained mum when asked new shipments).
