We stopped by the Ulla Johnson multi-brand sale as it opened this morning, and got a good look at the stock packed into the small space. Tess Giberson has items for up to 80% off, Surf Bazaar has swimsuits for $50, and M. Patmos has leather jackets for just $200.
Surf Bazaar is first on the right side, and has items marked as $50, $75 and $100. Bikinis and crop tops are $50, shorts are $75, rompers and skirts are $100 and sweaters are $150. Their stock is colorful and light—perfect for beach trips or super sweaty summer days. Sizes run the full spectrum, from small to large.
Tess Giberson has three racks, marked at 50%, 60%, and 80% off. We liked a black floral crochet dress for $397 (was $795) and a wave-print dress for $382 (was $765) on the 50% off rack. A great jacquard crop tank for $110 (was $275) and white crochet shorts for $198 (were $495) are on the 60% off rack. Major steals include perforated leather pants for $262 (were $1,310) and a reverse-lapel vest for $44 (was $220) on the 80% off rack. Sizes range from small to large, but most one-off styles are smalls.
M. Patmos is next, and prices are listed on signs. The stock is more winter focused; there are fur and shearling coats for $250, coats, sweater coats, and leather jackets for $200, and ponchos and beaded or cashmere sweaters for $150. We liked a slim plaid coat for $200 and a metallic shearling convertible coat for $250. Dresses, cardigans, wool sweaters (there are many in boxes) and pashminas are $100. Pants, shirts, vests, and skirts are $75. A belted navy cocoon dress is $100, a tuxedo track pant is $75 and a midsummer shirt dress is also $100. Long sleeved tops are $50, short sleeve and sleeveless tops are $40 and shorts, skorts, hats, gloves and scarves are $30. The most common sizes are extra small through medium, but there are some larges in the mix as well.
Finally, Ulla Johnson stock is priced as marked. Shoes include pumps and flats, and are between $190 and $238. We liked an indigo jumpsuit for $248, a blush top for $125, and a denim jacket for $179. Well-stocked items included an "Acacia" peasant blouse for $173, sweaters for $190, and a zigzag-print top for $161. There were one or two bags, but those got picked up as soon as the doors opened. We'd head here soon if you intend on finding your sizes, especially in Tess and Ulla.
