SOHO—No better way to get an early jump on the weekend than with a good old-fashioned block party. Join stores Aether Apparel, Jean Shop, Miansai, Saturdays Surf, Sleepy Jones, and Paintbox at the Soho Block Party happening this Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. Head to lower Crosby and Howard streets for special discounts and offers and —of course — libations.

MEATPACKING DISTRICT—Stock up on sleepwear and other wardrobe essentials at the Hanro flagship boutique (806 Washington St) this Thursday, October 1st through Sunday, October 11th during the Friends and Family. Customers will enjoy 20% off all in-store purchases, as well as complimentary snacks and refreshments.

EAST VILLAGE—Get a suit or overcoat that fits perfectly from luxury menswear brand Vigneti XIII, thanks to complimentary alterations. The brand is popping up through November 30th at 508 East 12th Street and is open Mondays through Fridays from 11am to 8pm, Saturdays from 11am to 7pm, and Sundays from 11am to 6pm.

MIDTOWN—Head to the Lord & Taylor flagship to buy tickets for Charity Day: Let’s Do Something Good Together. Taking place all day Saturday, shoppers will get a storewide 20% off pass, a coupon for 10% off cosmetics, and two 30% off coupons for single items. They can also check out a fashion presentation celebrating cancer survivors, enjoy live music and refreshments, and spruce up with various activities including braiding, nail art, henna tattoos, and shirt monogramming. All proceeds from the $5 ticket fee will benefit the American Cancer Society.
