Update: We went back to check out how this sale was faring when the doors opened at 10am, and found both new merchandise and price tags to take in. Vera Wang tanks and tee-shirts are reduced to $20 apiece, cardigans are now $50, and long dresses are now $200.
There was a also fresh shipment of Nest merchandise being unloaded at 10am, and a couple of price changes, too: Spring candles are now three for $10; Sprig body butter is buy one, get one free; and room and some fragrance sprays are $10 as well as buy one, get one free.

We stopped by the Nest Fragrances and Vera Wang sample sale preview at 151 Wooster Street in Soho last night, where both labels are chock full of holiday spirit — think pumpkin spice and other holiday scents galore on the Nest side, and plenty of metallics out on the floor for Vera Wang.
Nest is set up to the left side of the space, beginning right after coat check. We spotted lots of candles and home diffusers, with fine fragrances and other items on the tables as well. The price list is as follows: singles votives are $8; classic candles are $19; reed diffusers are $22; three-wick candles are $30; grand candles are $125; hand lotions, liquid soaps, body wash, and fragrance sprays are $10; gift sets are $20; and unboxed votive candles are $2.
For fine fragrances, rollerballs are $10 each, or three for $20; 50ml eau de parfums are $15, or two for $25; 100ml eaus are $20, or two for $35; and body cream is $20. Spring classic candles and melt candles are $5; Manor Lane candles are $10; and Calvin Klein diffusers and candles are $25 and $30, respectively. All items appear to be well-stocked, with candles and diffusers organized by scent. We also spotted a few candles from the Sir Elton John collaboration.
Vera Wang ready-to-wear is on the opposite side. Prices are based on the original retail price and range from $50—$600. Here's the breakdown: items originally priced at $50—$200 are now $50; originally $201—$499 are now $75; originally $500—$699 are now $100; originally $700—$999 are now $150; originally $1,000—$1,299 are now $250; originally $1,300 —$1,599 are now $300; originally $1,600—$1,995 are now $350; originally $2,000—$2,499 are now $400; originally $2,500—$2,999 are now $500; and finally, items originally at $3,000 and above are now $600. So in most price tiers, you're saving at least 75% from retail/
Racks of cocktail dresses are to the left, and we spotted a good array of sizes 0 to 12. Holiday attire appeared to be the theme (in a good way!), and styles of note include a beaded mini dress for $350, a fringed dress with mesh insets for $350, and a metallic gold long-sleeved dress for $250. There were a few styles of long skirts at the end of this rack — we liked a black metallic flared style for $350.
Gowns are towards the back behind the dresses, with the dressing rooms in the back right-hand corner. There's a good assortment of styles and sizes, with blue and red numbers (both $300) standing out.
Tops are along the right-hand side of the space. We spotted silky blouses, as well as graphic tee-shirts with tonal bug designs on the front, and phrases such as "bug off" ($50) on the back. There are a few metallic sweaters in the mix, and we liked a knit tank with chiffon ruffles at the sleeves, available in pink, navy, and black, for $75. We also liked a pink jewel-encrusted top priced at $500 (from $2,595). There is one rack of skirts and shorts towards the registers, with a black embellished pair of tap shorts ($350) standing out.
Pants and coats are in the middle of the Vera Wang side of the space. Coats range from light-weight windbreaker styles to heavy parkas. We liked a short-sleeved zip-up coat with a beaver fur back ($400) and a denim jacket-inspired leather jacket ($300). There are a few styles of bracelets ($100) and necklaces ($150) towards the register.
There's lots to peruse here in both categories, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to shop. The sale runs straight through the weekend to Monday at 7pm; Check out the Dealfeed below for more details.
