Think that the intersection of food and fashion begins with green juice and ends with (out-of-style) avocado toast? Think again. This morning brings the news of two of New York's favorite calorie-bomb chains pairing up with apparel brands for some rather odd coupling, like Kate Spade and Magnolia Bakery.

As part of Kate Spade's plan to take over your life with its merchandise, WWD reports that the brand is releasing four bags that are tied to the cupcakery: a banana pudding crossbody bag, a cupcake box tote, an illustrated tote, and a cookbook clutch. "The Kate Spade New York girl has a strong appetite for a novelty piece and a conversation starter," Deborah Lloyd, Kate Spade's president and chief creative officer, told the paper of the pairing. Expect to see these hit the shelves, both digital and IRL, come October.

But first will come a fashionable affair between Loomstate and Shake Shack, which will be available on the brands's respective sites (as well as Spring) beginning this Thursday, July 23rd. The limited-edition run of tee-shirts and tanks was "inspired by the beloved burger, waves, and starry nights," according to the burger purveyor. No word on whether they're ShackSauce-stain resistant, though.
