Markdowns have begun at the Proenza Schouler sample sale! We went back yesterday evening to check on what's left from earlier this week to find reduced prices in several categories. The sale has certainly died down compared to the frenzy on day one: There was no line to get in, and definitely no crowd inside. Ready-to-wear has been spread across both floors and you'll find similar pieces upstairs and downstairs—if you can't find your size in one area, you might find it on a rack on the other floor.
Plenty of markdowns have come to the accessories selection. All keychains are now $29.99 (were $39). Luxurious silk/wool or cashmeres scarves are 50% less at $49.99 (were $99), and there are still plenty left. There's also lots of canvas tote bags (now $59.99, from $79) and shearling/leather pouches in black and white for $49.99, down from $99.
For those still seeking handbags, we spotted a handful of PS Elliot crocodile skin shoulder bags for $2,093 and PS Elliot crocodile skin clutch for $1,718. Tiny bucket bags from the first day remain and are still going for $399. There's also a good variety of Proenza Schouler x Le Bon marché PS1 text print wallets for $99. And that's all—there are no more card holder or wallets.
Lastly, all denim pieces are an additional 20% off. This means black denim jackets are now $79.20, blue or white denim vests are $55.20, PS J6 Boyfriend Jeans are $35.20, and PS1 bleached indigo boy jeans are $23.20. Staffers told us that they were only informed of markdowns yesterday, and are unaware if there will be further reductions today.
